Here is a quick and easy recipe that you can cook on any Star Panini or Sandwich Grill. Your customers will love the fresh ingredients and appreciate the fast cook time.
Ingredients
- 6 pre-cooked burgers thawed or ¾ lb. fresh 80/20 burger
- 6 slices American cheese/cheddar or pepper jack cheese
- 6 joined dinner rolls or slider rolls
- 12 slices dill pickles
- 6 small slices of red onion grilled
- Toppings: mustard, ketchup, chutney, guacamole, (jarred) sweet or hot peppers, salsa, relish
Directions: Preheat sandwich grill to medium high.
Precooked: Place 6 precooked burgers on the grill or flatted the ¾ lbs. of burger overt the surface of the grill covering the complete surface of grill. Close the top on the grill and heat until the meat is at 165F about 3-4 minutes. Lift the top and place the cheese over all the burgers. Do not close the top again. Wait one minute for the cheese to start to melt. Set the burgers on top of the heels of the slider decorate the top and place on plate with pickles, chips or whatever you plan to serve with the sliders.
Fresh: If you used the fresh hamburger, when done cut the sheet of beef into six sections. Place the cheese over all the meat that covers the grille. Let the cheese set on the burger for one minute. Lift each square burger off the grill and place on the heel of the slider roll, decorate and place the top on the roll and plate and serve same as the above.
